9/29/2016: The Westlake Alumni Association, with the support of WDAB, celebrated 4 wonderful 2016 Hall of Fame inductees:
Mike Antonyzyn ’68 Distinguished Hall of Fame
Bob Clancy ’65 Distinguished Hall of Fame
Dr. Jennifer Psota Dougherty ’90 Athletic Hall of Fame
Jon Thompson Honorary Hall of Fame
The Westlake Alumni Association hosted the Hall of Fame ceremony at Wagner’s of Westlake. The room, filled with alumni, families, friends, Westlake school administration and board members dined on a delicious meal prepared by the chef of Wagner’s. Once dessert was delivered, the ceremony began with fond memories and the importance of the Westlake Alumni Association. As the night went on, all 4 inductees were introduced by friends or family highlighting their years as students, athletes, teachers, mentors, community members and active supporters of Westlake. The evening was filled with wonderful history and memories of years past. Words like passion, pride and humbled captured the spirit of the room.
Thank you to WDAB and WCS for your continuing support of the Westlake Alumni Association. We look forward to building up the Westlake Alumni Association so we can support scholarships for Westlake grads and continue to induct amazing people into the Westlake Hall of Fame.
Concession Stand Sign Ups
Please sign up to work the Westlake Demons Athletic Boosters Concession Stands! Funds realized through the sale of concessions at home sporting events will go to fund ALL sports at WHS and LBMS. We are asking that ALL Fall 2016 athlete families work at least two 2 hour shifts at any of the games listed on this calendar. Westlake Demons Athletic Boosters (WDAB) is kicking off the year with activities and options geared to support athletic programs and projects for our student athletes at LBMS & WHS.

Please consider an adult or student one-year membership and/or game pass through WDAB. Your membership represents a large portion of the WDAB revenue, funding multiple athletic/coach requests and needs. Further, adults will be recognized in the sports programs and WDAB website. All members will receive an annual commemorative WDAB collector’s pin as well. Click for details!
What is WDAB? The Westlake Demons Athletic Boosters (WDAB) is a community-based organization established with an ALL ATHLETICS/ONE GOAL approach of supporting Westlake City School athletic teams in grades 7-12. WDAB strives to provide equipment, uniforms, scoreboards, athletic structures, etc. – via the fundraising efforts of its members, parents, the greater Westlake community, and local businesses.
While WDAB is a separate entity from Westlake City Schools and its athletic departments, it supports the activities and needs of our interscholastic athletes and athletic programs. WDAB is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization and strictly run by a group of dedicated volunteers.
ATHLETIC BOOSTERS AT WORK
Thanks to our membership drive and other fundraisers, WDAB is thrilled to grant team requests for equipment and gear for this year to WHS & LBMS teams. Just 2 years ago, the former Demons Club had a profit of just $7,000 with no major fundraisers and was unable to field or grant requests to coaches and teams. Congratulations Demon Nation! The train has left the station!
